How do I stop this 14 week old puppy from crying in the crate?

Hello, we got this maltese puppy from a reputable breeder 2 weeks ago. he is currently almost 15 weeks old. the first night he cried for hours, and we expected that. we would check on him least twice to take him to go potty, and he did do that. we placed him back in the crate and consistently cried throughout night. we tried several things in these two weeks, all to have failed. we placed a blanket on all but the front of the cage; a shirt with the scent of my sister (since he loves her the most); placed a chew bone he likes in there, etc. we even left the tv on at night. i have tried placing treats in there and he would go in halfway and come out. the thing we worry about is when he cries, he CRIES for hours and hours. from what people have told us is that puppies usually cry for hour or two. but this dog cries and howls for four to five hours (with bathroom breaks). we worry that he can really hurt himself. also we might think, can there be something wrong with him? isnt he eventually supposed to get tired and just give it up after a certain time??? please help!!! thanks

Just a quick question regarding carp bait.?

Hi, I live near Lake Michigan and as a lot of you probably already know the carp in there are large and plentiful and given a certain amount of patience they are willing biters. I just have one problem. I've been using a commercial bait called "Uncle Josh Carp Bait" There's no doubt it's a good bait because it's bright colored, releases scent into the water nicely and it's easy to form into a dough-ball but the particular container of bait I bought was pretty soft and it's very hard to get it to stay on the hook. On the back of the tub it says that if the bait is too soft to mix it with fine dirt. I might try that as a last resort but in the mean time I'm searching for alternate methods. Does anybody know how to make an affective homemade carp bait that's nice and firm? You know, soft enough to be appealing to the fish but firm enough that it will stay on the hook with ease and withstand intense casting? Not that this is too huge a problem but I'm also looking for a bait that's appealing to carp but also something that those annoying nibbling sunfish will ignore and not destroy. Is there also a way that I could maybe keep the bait I already have on the hook easier? Maybe I should use regular bread dough, it seems pretty strong, would it work? Are carp attracted to large night crawlers? I know they work for catfish and they are almost guaranteed to stay on the hook but the sunfish and gobies would probably tear them up before the carp ever got to them. Help! My 3 month puppy won't sleep by herself!?

Recently my family and I got a sweet 3 month old coca poo. The only problem is she won't sleep by herself. We tried leaving her alone one night with a toy her and her brothers and sisters shared and a blanket with all my family's scent on it , but she ended up crying the whole night. The only time she doesn't cry and bark is when my mom sleeps next to her while she sleeps in her crate. My question is if she will ever grow out of this stage and is it all right that my mom has been sleeping next to her? Will this cause her to never sleep by herself? Thanks if anyone can help. Why are my cats suddenly attacking one another?

I have three cats. Bobbie (8 year old female), Lee J (7 year old male), and Bella (4 year old female). They have all lived together, with only the occasional spat, for four years now. Then, the other day they discovered a mouse in the basement that they all were stalking. None of them caught it (it went into a trap that we had set up), but a violent fight occurred over this (that I did not witness, but heard). We calmed them down with some food, but after wards Bobbie went tearing after Lee J, hissing and batting at him, while he ran scared. I went and found him, and picked him up to comfort him, when Bella came in the room and started violently attacking me (biting leading to blood and bruises) trying to get to Lee J. We separated them, putting Bella and Bobbie in a room, and Lee J in another for the night. For the next two days they acted fine with each other, but then at night we woke up to another fight of the two female cats against my male. We separated them again for the night, but then in the morning when we let them out, Bobbie started sniffing around, found Lee J's scent, tracked him to his hiding spot, and started to violently attack him. He is currently removed from the situation (my mom is going to take care of him for a little while and have my dad [a vet] look at him). This has never happened before. My cats have always been peaceful and have gotten along with each other (in fact, Lee J is Bobbie's biological son). All of them are spayed and neutered. But, it is strange that the female cats are not fighting with each other, only attacking my male cat. Even my dad is perplexed why they suddenly turned on one another. Has anyone had a similar situation, or can shed some light on the subject? I love my cats very much, and I want us all to be a family again soon.

So I've been a pre-med student for my whole undergraduate career, and am due to graduate at the end of this semester. For the past year, however, I've fallen in love with physics. Although Physics I was kind of "meh" Physics II and onward has been fantastic. I've been reading a lot of Brian Greene, Carl Sagan, and Stephen Hawking. It makes me want to become a physicist, because I feel like it's my passion. I feel as if my proverbial bed has been made. All my efforts have been towards medicine and I am going to be going through the application process this summer. Question about ammonia and bleach exposure?

A few days ago my toilet wouldnt flush...I then realized that a plastic spoon had fallen in...process of elimination as to what was on top of the toilet I knew that was what was blocking it...tried plunging again and again and again...tried using a coat hanger to snag it...no dice...so today I figured I'd clean it before sticking my hand in the toilet...I grabbed bleach and poured some in...first mistake...second mistake was I didnt dilute it...third mistake I didnt think of the reaction between urine (ammonia) and bleach...anyways I continued scrubbing when one of my nostrils started stinging not burning...immediately I opened the window and left the bathroom--got a fan and had it pointing towards the window...I was only in the bathroom for about 3-4 minutes before I left to get fresh air...for about 5-10 minutes I had the smell of bleach in my nose...about an hour after everything was back to normal no scent no stinging...also I didnt have any coughing or wheezing...am I at any risk? I called posion control they said I should be fine but I have panic disorder and sometimes I tend to refuse that everything is A-okay...I would think I didnt have enough exposure to it to cause long term damage...especially since I felt fine relatively fast proceeding the incident...about 4 hours after I returned to the bathroom and the smell/potency was gone...flushed the toilet and the damn thing flushed fine...I guess the plastic spoon got dissolved or broke and it passed through? Once again any insight on to if I can stop worrying about pulmonary edema or anything like that would be greatly appreciated...thank you if you reply. BTW there wasnt much urine in the bowl...most had drained only maybe one cup remained...a measurement cup that is...

Excessive scratching help!?

I was born with eczema and it has always been present on my life however for the past few years it jas gotten to the point where I will scratch and itch constantly. It's Melt and Pour, which means i take regular unscented blocks of soap (it can be goat milk soap, shea butter, or just regular soap) melt it a pot, and then i pour it into a wooden mold let it dry and then add natural scents and colors to it. Describing the main character waking up and looking outside is not interesting, does not hook at all. The last line also makes your character come off as rather shallow, only caring about looks, and many people do not care for such vain characters.

I run on win xp and have 4Gb of DDR3 RAM and 2 Gb video onboard DDR3 RAM so that's 6Gb all together and the file that I'm using is only 3Mb so I don't really know what the issue is here. When I look in task manager i do see that Photoshop is using 1.2 Gb of RAM and Firefox using about 500Mb of RAM so why does it say my hardware is exceeding the limits? Tattoos go through many ugly stages while healing. Don't expect the final result until about a month. At that point if it needs touched up, you can have that done then. You really should use unscented products until healed--Ivory soap or an antibacterial hand soap is normally what I use. Once it starts peeling use an unscented lotion several times a day to ease that whole pulling stage--just a tiny amount, what the tattoo will absorb.

Anyone need help with NHL 11 Hockey Ultimate Team?

Well I have been playing NHL11 for a while and I have some experience with HUT so i can give you a few tips to get good players cheap (i'm telling you this because from your lines you don't seem to have many great players so i can help you if you need it, if not don't read any further). FIrst off, put all your players that you want to sell or are not using into your trade pile and put them up for trade at 1 day increments for the weekdays. Put them up for a reasonable price then put the buy now price at maybe 200 over that and 250 max (higher if the player is better). This will ensure that the person will most likely go for the buy now, 250 more pucks wont mean much to them but that adds up for you after a few players are sold. Second, don't buy any players or any packs till the weekend. The weekends are always that days that they make the jumbo packs (or some pack) a lot cheaper. For instance, there has been a pack out almost every weekend that has 3 rare cards (chance for 4th) for 2,500 pucks. That is almost the same amount of rare cards as the jumbo pack but the jumbo is 5,000 more and the only difference in the jumbo is one extra rare card. So wait for the weekend to buy packs, keep the rare cards (or any players you want in there) then delete the rest to get around 700-800 pucks of that back. Third, (this is where all of this comes together to answer your question) you need to put up your "search for card" settings at around 1,500 pucks or less for buy now maximum, if you scroll through many pages you will find very valuable players (full body cards, etc.) for a very low price, this is because many new cards came out because of those cheap packs (this makes a large inflation of the amount of that player out, bringing his value down more and more. Stamkos should be more than 10,000 pucks but there are so many of him out, I even have one lol). For example I specialize in training good defensive players I recently bought an Eric Johnson and a Dion Phaneuf for less than 2,000 pucks total. If you don't know, these are full body defensive players that i have now gotten to 99 defense and 98 checking on each (Phaneuf 91 overall, Eric Johnson 94 overall). So I now have 2 more full body defensemen and many others that i have not named. This will help you find better players faster, as for who to pick, I don't want this to sound mean, but that is entirely up to you. To me all players are the same under this. After all its only a video game, but it helps to know what you are doing. For instance if you have an eric Staal and a sidney crosby at 99 to pick from, most people would pick sidney crosby because he is more popular and worth a lot, but because he is worth more is the only reason why, I would chose the Eric Staal because, like i said, its only a game and a 99 overall player plays the same as any other 99 overall player (btw the overall doesn't count much, I have seen lots of players at 99 that have training levels 99 off-95 def -99 hnd-90 chk-89 def, which obviously is not averaged at 99.). Go with players on the same team, that is the only strong advantage. Players on the same team work better together, take better passes, do better plays and make better shots. You don't necessarily need EVERY player on your team the same, just lines. For instance i used that technique a lot and i would verse my friend, who has a lot of 99 players but not many on the same team, and i would beat him, often at high goal amounts like 5-1 or 6-2 games, with offense: Alex Frolov, Anze Kopitar, Dustin Brown, Defense: M. Greene and J. Johnson, and Jonathan Quick as goalie, then a New jersey line, my tampa bay lightning line, and my Carolina Hurricanes line. This is because the chemistry was at 99 on every line, so find players that work well together. Hope this helps any readers. Ok so a couple of weeks ago i began having trouble with my toshiba 120 watt ac adapter charger. I would have to position the prong a certain way in order for it to take a charge. and then smelled burning plastic. I took it up to geek squad and they i needed a new dc jack (charger port) and proably a new charger totalling up to almost 300 hundred dollars. i hadnt used my charger for 2 weeks and left i unplug and my computer completely off and today i decided to test it out again. I plugged in the charger and i didnt have to position it a certain way and ive been monitoring the coating around the prong to see if its getting extremely hot like it had been. i dont not smell the burning scent anymore and the charger is at best warm. Its normal and its charging. is this some technical fluke/miracle and im all set to use my charger or is it doing more damage?

Why does my new tattoo already look faded?

I just got a tattoo done on Wednesday, and I only got the black parts done. I have been cleaning it using non-scented Dove soap on it with cold water. Then, after that I put on a layer of A&D ointment. Then I let it air dry. I did this 3 times per day for the last two days, and now part of my tattoo looks faded.
