How can I make my perfume last on me longer?

It seems like right when I leave my house, you can't smell it anymore. I don't want to go buy a better long lasting one. So are there any tricks to make it last longer? I have a ton of different brands. Also, which kind of scents are good in the summer? I have pretty much anything. I don't want to seem to girly though. I want it to smell good to everyone and not just to me and other girls. Help?!
