Caring for a new tattoo.?

I got a tattoo last night and I know the basic care instructions, but I have a few questions. I know I need to wash it with an antibacterial soap so I went to the store and got 1 made by dial, but it is scented is that ok? Is it ok to use aquaphor on my tattoo? I've heard several different things. Some say don't use it because its a petroleum based product and it will draw out the ink and that its too heavy to let the tattoo breath and heal. But others say to use it for the first few days and then switch to a regular lotion. So what do I do?
