How to make body spray last all day?

I know that perfume is stronger than body spray, but i have a couple of body sprays and cant seem to keep the smell for the whole day! any ideas?? i heard about using the same body lotions/gels to layer the scent, but my sprays dont have a similar body lotion/gel...help!
