Will manic panic last in my hair/hair routine?

I naturally have thick curly hair. I straighten it, so my texture is different than normal straight hair. My hair now, is very thinner and has layers, i've been scene for a while and i finally want to dye my hair. They say manic panic is bad and good but I see its bad with naturally straight hair!! I am a strawberry blonde and im highlighting my bottom layer in Pillarbox red I only wash my hair 2 times a week because my hair can last a very long time without getting dry, greasy, or just plain out gross. I use a olive scented hair mask and wash it out in the morning on Mondays and Fridays. Will manic panic last long in my hair!?
